I'm no Microsoft apologist but can we really expect them to do anything else? Can we really expect a company to not try to push their product over someone else's product? Certainly it runs counter to the whole idea of Microsoft warming up to Linux but let's face it; Microsoft, while saying they would try to interoperate better, never said anything about buddying up with Linux. That's just a headline that journalists have fabricated. |

Bingo...does anyone here honestly think that the "Linux Lab" MS set up has been done so for altruistic purpose...that they are simply looking for ways to "help and interact"? Please...cynic that I am thinks they have done so just to pick it apart and find the weaknesses. Exploitation of said weaknesses is imminent. There was no prisoner exchange here...MS code remains as closed as it ever was. Old Texas Saying: You knew it was a snake when you picked it up. h |
