Work for free on something Free

It's interesting raising the question would you work for free? Because lots of people on the projects do work for no monetary return. That whole area to me though seems to overlook something important. The comments are a more subtle deviation from the meaning of free in the Free Software context. In these areas of making money off of Free Software it strikes me an important factor is the avoidance of lock in etc. provided by the freedom that comes from the Free. Again all the focus seems to lie with the developers and no cost. |
