Just curious, how many dyed in the wool Itanium shops are out there? I mean dedicated suppliers of Itanium boxes. Like most of the world, I've watched as many, many Itanium providers have dropped their Itanium support. And if they didn't drop, they probably got acquired by HP :-) What other LARGE/supplier of Itanium HW solns is out there? |

linux is processor agnostic , itanium friendly .That is good thing vs some known os monopoly. |

Oh.. we run them.. of course, we're talking HPtium's... AMD pretty much does it better, cooler, faster, etc.... Itanium's are SO expensive, that we can't afford to test their "competitive" chips... on the low end... they're nothing special. So.. anyone seeing anybody BUT HP pushing Itanium? |

HP doesn't want to drop Itanium because they dropped their Alpha for it. They don't want to admit their huge mistake which eventually is going to catch up with them and cause their demise |
