Unintentional(?) Omission?

I believe Tolly is unintentionally assuming that all things being equal, the playing field is level. Hows that for squeezing two trite cliche's into one sentence? No outward mention of a convicted monopolists business practices and a patent war raging in Europe. No mention as to why MS is the dominant force in the industry (see above assertions). These things don't matter in the context of the article? Please. They make all the difference in the world...at least to those who are paying attention. The only problem with my observation and obvious bias is that very few people are indeed paying attention. The term "Sheep to be Sheared" comes to mind...wonder why. If all things were considered equal and the above-mentioned factors did not come into play, then indeed Mr. Tolly could have an arguable point. As it stands now...it is a glaring omission. helios helios |
