Isn't that how the old song goes? Make those sour grapes. You think Linux has elitists? The last time I went into a BSD forum and asked a question, I got knocked around like a pinata. Truth be told, I am experimenting with pc-bsd. it's claim to fame is double click software installation. Now my memory isn't what it used to be. No wait...it really never was very good...not after following Timothy Leary for 3 years. If my memory does serve me, isn't double click-just-install-anything-you-want software what got windoze in trouble? I think so. helios |

I think it was more Microsoft's implementation of double-click-just-install-anything-you-want that got it in trouble. The idea is good but MS's methods were...unsound. I have been wondering, just how is pc-BSD? Stable? Secure? More so/less so than Linux/other BSDs? |
