...up one side of the server rack and down the other in so many areas, this continued focusing exclusively on expensive RHEL as the only viable competitor for W2k3 is an obvious ploy in itself. I can pull down Debian or the Community version of Mandr* Linux or any one of countless others for free and use it for everything from a cheap network appliance to a supercomputing cluster, including a high-capacity web, file, database or email server as-is, why should I bother futzing around with Microsoft's black boxes and per-seat maybe-per-CPU licence nightmare? Does not compute! |
