Is that an attempt to differentiate themselves, or are they aiming for the gossip market? Or something else? Either way, they've managed to make the colours suck even more than Ubuntu. (-: On a slightly more serious note, going with the browns was both bold on Ubuntu's part and probably also a reflection of genuine input from the non-Western components of their team. AFAICT, non-Westerners in Microsoft are largely sepoys, mindlessly echoing the policies and tastes of Redmond. |
