Like hell they did. What Microsoft really did was made some highly visible and well-publicised moves to give the appearance of taking away the obvious issues.

It's true that they have begun to chip away at their inherent (literally inherent) security nightmare, and done so at great inconvenience to their established user base, but there's still a long row for them to hoe in the security field. What DiDio's claiming for them in now way matches the reality.

Take the associated study, I guess, with the traditional shovel-full of salt.
