BitTorrent traffic account for about a third of the traffic on the internet today... Could BitTorrent be considered "mal-ware" ? |

Nasa uses BitTorrent.

According to the article, it saves the US tax payer money (because no big downloadservers are needed anymore). What I wonder is, if 'innovating' companies could be sued, then: -Could companies like Nero / Microsoft be held responsible for use of their software to illegal copy cd's / dvd's? -Are they going to sue Philips / Sony, because of the invention of the legal CD's? Because a legal CD can be used to make an illegal copy. -And findally, are they going to sue themselves, for making movies that could be copied illegal? This is just rediculous! |
