MS reaches opposite effect

I think MS'es idea was to let all the people who uses startpagina.nl (means 'startpage.nl') as their home-page, turn over to MSN as their startpage (probably more than a million users?). But the startpagina.nl page has a MUCH larger momentum than MS pages in general in the Netherlands, so it backfired (I live in the Netherlands, and the page is indeed much used), and they reached the opposite effect they planned. This small issue is now worldwide known, and everybody can see what MS is up to. Bad advertisement for them, and shame on them! |
