This is a sad day for the letter e, a once vibrant and vital member of the alphabet family. Sure, it's been tied to losers in the past, and anybody knows that an 'E' in the baseball box score is not a good thing. E daily suffers the embarrasment of having damned near anything internettish turned into e-this and e-that. We won't even talk about the horrors of e-mail. This association with SCO, though, has got to be the worst. SCO was once a proud name -- taking Unix to the small businesses that the "real" Unix companies (ie - the hardware makers) were to snooty to serve. SCO was good and useful. Kind of like e. How the mighty have fallen. |

Well, that does it. They got an "e" eh. I think I know why the Romans said revenge is best served cold. It takes a while for what goes around to come around. |
