4:03 AM EDT 		Progress implies a goal, and Microsoft's goal is to stop significant people from complaining. My comment on that is:

  • Good luck with that one, Sysiphus had it easier - http://www.anselm.edu/homepage/dbanach/sisyphus.htm ; and
  • "A feeling of better security" != "better security", in fact it usually == "worse security" because if you feel confident about it, you're less inclined to check (cocky OpenBSD and similar admins, pease note)
