This story contradicts itself! (About the virusscanners)

First, they tell you that Microsoft products are safer. Then, it follows: of the EXISTING bugs, Microsoft patched LESS bugs than Red Hat and Suse did, so one would think Red Hat and Suse did a far better job by fixing more bugs than Microsoft did. That's the first contradiction. Secondly, Microsoft is making money by selling anti-virus-products. How the hell can Microsoft really mean its products are saver if they EARN from anti-virus-products (and anti-ad-aware as well)? You only sell AV-products if your software suffers from viruses, i.e. ISN'T save. |
