And all I can say is that it's my wm of choice for business work. KDE on cygwin is such a pig. I love KDE's look and feel but it saps so much in the way of resources that I hate to even initialize it.

XFce takes flight very quickly and is so lightweight, simple (And, I hate to say it, but ... CDE like) -- just plain cool.

I installed XFCE 4.2 on Ubuntu Warty and it crashed after using it for a few minutes. After that, parts of it wouldn't load, such as the background and the right click menu. I just uninstalled it. I think it is Ubuntu, not XFCE, cause not many people have complained about it. Oh well, maybe I'll try it again with the next Ubuntu or XFCE release, whichever comes first.

I've used it before under Fedora -- it was pretty darn stable...
