Try, spreading the word. The truth is that anything that's substantially different from IE is safer for quite some time, until it gathers market-share and becomes a target. How long that is, is anybodys guess. Say it's a year. That's a year -- Internet time -- of safety. I say gloat like pigs until it's a problem :) Er, spread the word, I mean, yeah! That's the ticket! --FeriCyde |

It's doubtful that Firefox will achieve >30% of the existing Windoze browser marketshare... it's not like Firefox is distributed with the OS or deeply intergrated with it. However, anyone who says that Firefox won't be safer even it were to become the big #1, is absolutely wrong. |

>However, anyone who says that Firefox won't be safer even it were to become >the big #1, is absolutely wrong. Absolutely. The fact that Windows and IE are "integral" parts of each other -- something argued many times in court rooms - - makes IE inherently unsafe. People forget that IE and Outlook Express equal "national security threats". The Government is supposed to avoid using IE & OE and the same with government contractors, schools, etc. Those web sites that "only cater to IE" have migrated to include other browsers. One day, people will wake up and see that Microsoft Windows is a toy -- a toy the manufacturer should be required to recall due to it's dangerous potential to the children that use it. |
