Now that we have seen 1 phpBB worm and a Firefox phishing exploit, FOSS must be 1,000,000,000 times more insecure than any other "commercial grade" software.

Never mind the phpBB exploit was already patched two versions ago and attacks were only successful because of outdated sites.

The phishing scam only "works" by sending people email with a link to a spoofed site on which they have to download the malware themselves? Reminds me of the joke of the "Third World Virus". Send an email, ask the recipient to send this email to his/her friends and then wipe the harddrive.

Oh well, it won't be me bending under the pressure of malware ;) If they need this as justification to keep using their usual "fix", I'm not going to be their "Betty Ford".

R_A_Trip, chill -- you're taking this all the wrong way. This is our opportunity for branding. You know, when you've got something that only works with one or another browser, it should have a little logo with a "works best with:", like this: http://fericyde.blogspot.com/2005/01/browser-compatibility-r...

Enjoy :) --FeriCyde
