Knoppix needs a serious theme overhaul. Keramik looked cool when it came out because it was different, and it certainly isn't bad. But the old school Keramik theme is just done. We have moved on. And the fonts not being anti-aliased by default is just wrong. How about the colors on the bash prompt. Seeing green? And finally, that homepage is just worse than debian's plain look. At least just go with a CSS-based simplistic look that gets us many of us by today. I'm not saying Knoppix isn't incredibly cool, but why not put the finishing touches on? |
