http://www.linuxjournal.com/article.php?sid=7802 does not seem to exist. no article with that heading can be found on the site either.

The correct URL (http://www.linuxjournal.com/article.php?sid=7488) has a completely different and lower article number. Not easy to explain. |

the more interresting question is, how you found it.

Whoops, I cited the wrong article. A search (http://www.linuxjournal.com/search.php?query=ooo off the wal...) shows nothing. Was it withdrawn? |

The highest numbered article I can find right now is 7801, Dave's referring to #7802 - is this precognition? (-: |

First newsforge and now this. What's to be done with these Linux news websites? Let's all send them a webmaster's guide to keeping links alive. Dave |

Better yet, why don't we all start writing opinion pieces with little content, and minimal reliance on fact, we can remove at least 50% of the sites Dave has to link to (not, I hasten to add, do I suggest LJ is guilty of this, they are one of the only sites that regularly has useful articles). Maybe they withdrew for correction, and maybe they announced that article early by mistake. And maybe I aught to get a sub, I read it enough. And it is up now.
