I downloaded this distro yesterday. It's pretty cool. Gnome 2.8 (not sure what happened to 2.7).
Once synaptic is pointed at online sources there is a LOT of software available.
I've only been running it for a few hours so have only an initial impression.
But that initial impression is a good one , and I will continue to use it rather than mandrake (my other favourite distro) until mandrake catches up. If people don't stop bringing out elegant, well put together Linux distros I'm gonna end up having to go out and buy a third and fourth machine to fit them all on. |
