There was an interesting discussion at todays Linuxshow about prior art by Eric Raymond. Eric was on the show and mentioned that he wrote an article about same system in 1998 but didn't bother to patent any on this as he thought it obvious. That's the probelm with FOSS programmers. They see a probelm, and solve it. They then consider it so easy any idiot could do the same. Then some idiot patents it. Just remember people MSFT wants to patent sudo. |
