Don't know about elsewhere, but I have no trouble rustling up Linux work here in backwater Perth, Western Australia. I'm sick at the moment, so not doing much work, but even before that I'd being saying "no" to lots of extra work, and out local Linux-in-business association is finding that many hands do not make light work if they're all too busy to do stuff. Happily, more and more Linux-trained people are exiting our most forward-looking universities and technical colleges, some of whom are basically competent, so this won't be a long-term problem. |
