Now we see a "proof of concept" virus that can affect both Windows and Linux machines at the same time. While the particular virus reported by Kaspersky Labs seems to have a low impact on affected systems, it may be a sign the the sense of security Linux users have experienced should be re-evaluated. In the relatively near future, Linux may not be able to brag so loudly that it is virtually immune to viruses and other malware. -Trip Full Story |
