PCLinuxOS Awarded "Best New User Distro" in 5 Month Long Experiment

Over the course of 5 months, I've taken my wife who knew nothing of Linux and put her through a handful of desktop oriented distros to see if we could shake the Windows bug. The results are contained on Yet Another Linux Blog. If you want to know what a new user thinks about distros such as SimplyMEPIS, PCLinuxOS, Mandrake (Mandriva), Ubuntu, and Fedora Core... you may want to give the experiment a read:

Tonight, we go head-to-head with the top distros as ranked previous by the experiment. Most of the readers know the premise behind the experiment and appreciate what we have set out to do. The top two new user distros as decided on by Mrs.Devnet, a new Linux user converting from Windows are PCLinuxOS .81a and SimplyMEPIS 3.3.1 (versions updated to current). We installed and test one last time each distro to allow Mrs.Devnet to experience each one before crowning a new user champion.
