Why 12.04 and or only LTS releases? With each release hardware gets dropped. Not a good thing if your trying to keep an aging computer fully supported, working as intended and simply nice, fast and capable. Although not an official LTS release for Lubuntu. It is the only defacto one.

Why is this particular respin relevant? I think because its already setup and ready to go with many details already addressed and updated. From core stuff to pretty stuff, its already done. Carefully selected programs and features provide a full Desktop Experience. What I refer to as light on resources yet heavy on capabilities and ease of use.
